In a world where compassion and support are crucial for those battling HIV/AIDS, Stars Of Hope launched the project CARE+ in the year 2023. More than a mere aid project, CARE+ stands as a beacon of hope and compassion, striving to extend support and empowerment to those affected by HIV/AIDS. Beyond immediate assistance, this initiative holds a greater vision—to end the stigma and barriers surrounding HIV/AIDS and create a future where the affliction no longer exists.
The project is directly supported by Sikkim State AIDS Control Society (SSACS), Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Sikkim.
Stars Of Hope is also the official state-level NGO partner of Sikkim State AIDS Control Society (SSACS), Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Sikkim.
Goals :
CARE+ stands committed to the holistic well-being of those affected by HIV/AIDS. The project’s primary goal is to foster a community that not only responds to the needs of these individuals but empowers them to lead healthy and dignified lives. Collaborating with companies, the initiative emphasizes providing nutritional support to HIV/AIDS patients through CSR efforts. A greater vision is to contribute to the global movement to eradicate HIV/AIDS
Project Components :
The success of CARE+ is rooted in its strategy of collaboration and education. CARE+ isn’t solely about providing aid; it’s about building a community that understands, empathizes, and supports. Through education and awareness activities, the project aims to break down stigmas and dispel misconceptions and raise awareness about HIV/AIDS, fostering an environment of acceptance and support. Additionally, the project collaborates with various companies to organize and provide vital nutritional support to HIV/AIDS patients through their CSR efforts, ensuring a holistic approach to care.
