Every journey begins with a dream. For Mr. Bikash Thapa, the Founder of Stars Of Hope, that dream took root when he was still a schoolboy. Sitting in a classroom, he often imagined an organization that could bring light into people’s lives and contribute positively to society. He called this dream Stars Of Hope. But dreams are fragile when there are no resources to sustain them. His first attempt, though full of passion, could not survive the harsh realities of life. For many, that might have been the end. Yet for Mr. Bikash, the vision never faded. It lived in his heart, waiting for the right moment to rise again. That moment came during his first year of college, when he found strength not in wealth, but in friendship. With the encouragement of a few like-minded friends and well-wishers, the dream of Stars Of Hope was reborn. On August 25, 2015, the very fisrt official meeting was held - a day now celebrated as the Foundation Day of Stars Of Hope. The journey since then has been anything but easy. There were times of doubt, times when resources were scarce, and times when challenges felt insurmountable. Yet, with patience, resilience, and consitent efforts, Stars Of Hope grew - step by step, day by day. Slowly, the organization began to earn the trust of communities, the confidence of partners, and the credibility of society at large. On September 19, 2019, that vision finally took formal shape when Stars Of Hope was officially registered as a Trust. What began as a schoolboy’s dream had now become a recognized movement of compassion and service. Today, Stars Of Hope is more than an organization - it is a testament to perseverance. It shows that no dream is too small and no effort is ever wasted when carried forward with love and belief. From classrooms to communities, from dreams to deeds, Stars Of Hope continues to shine, touching lives and reminding us that even in the darkest sky, stars find a way to glow.
